Read and practice the following dialog
Function:
To make an offer
Usage:
“May …?” and “What can …?” use modals.
“May …?”, “What can …?”, and “What if …?” are followed by
sentences with verbs base.
Examples:
1. May I help you lift the tables, please?
2. You look very sad. What can I do for you?
3. What if we arrange the books in your room, Sir?
