INTRODUCTION
The project that has been made on the
occasion of Techno Project demonstration is
a LIGHT FOLLOWING ROBOT
This robot responds to light and moves in
the direction of light when
incident on it

WORKING OF THE ROBOT
Light follower robot is a mobile robot which detects the light and
follows the light on the travelling path
The setup acts in such a way that when light is shined on the left
LDR array, resistance to the right motor is lowered, and thus power
is applied. This causes the motor to spin forward on the right side,
turning it towards the light shining on the left array. The opposite
effect will apply with the other three right LDRS and left motor, and
if light is shined equally on both sides, the robot will travel forward.
If either motor turns backwards, swap the battery and LDR leads.
WHY L298D MOTOR DRIVER SHIELD?

We have used the L298d motor driver module to control

the speed of the motor. There are several motor drivers
available on the market but due to lack of availability I
choose this one this is easy to install with Arduino
UNO, has 2 individual ports for 2 motors bur I have
connected 4 motors in two ports and also there are many
extra extended ports like 5v pins, GND pins, and analog
pins, etc.
APPLICATIONS OF THE MODEL

Solar panels follow a bit of this technology as they

have to face light directly for it to be 100% efficient.
