THE IMPLEMENTATION STAGE
Way back before Sta. Teresita National High School started offering ADM-
OHSP, the teachers are persistent to cater all the students to have a proper
education. At that time, a lot of students are dropping out of school due to
poverty. Children are forced to work and to supply their family’s needs. That’s
why, we, teachers are pushing them to study to have a better life in the future.
That’s why our school implemented ADM-OHSP in the School Year 2016-2017.
THE IMPLEMENTATION STAGE
At that time, we have 7 ADM students
CAMPAIGN
The school offers different campaigns such as mapping of learners or School
mapping. During school mapping, teachers visit their students to inquire about
their family and their daily lifestyle to guide them if they have any difficulty in
studying for them to achieve excellence and avoid them from dropping out.
Moreover, during school mapping, teachers inquire the family if the know
anyone who would like to continue their studies since nowadays, a lot of people
are unable to study because of poverty.
CAMPAIGN
Students start working to help their family while others are babysitting their
siblings or their child while their parents are working to sustain their family
needs. Through this school mapping, we, teachers can formulate solutions to
their problems by implementing the program and to boost the number of
enrollees.
STATUS OF ENROLMENT
Currently, the school have 28 students that are enrolled in the OHSP which are:

OPERATION OF OHSP
The school currently operates Open High School Program or OHSP. The
program provides an opportunity for elementary school graduates, high school
drop-outs and successful examinees of the Philippine Education Placement Test
(PEPT) to complete secondary education in a purely distance learning mode
while our school allows OHSP students to attend regular class whenever they are
available. The program provides printed self-learning modules for students to use
for their lessons and classroom activities.
TRACKING OF GRADUATES
Some of our graduates pursue college while the others didn’t and proceed
working in Manila.
IMPACT TO THE SCHOOL AND
COMMUNITY
The program gives opportunities to the student to have a better future ahead
while not just helping the community but the whole Filipino society to overcome
social and economic constraints.
SCHOOL’S BEST PRACTICE
One of our best or unique activities that our school have is that the alumni of our
school offer free services to help our learners specially those who have learning
difficulties.
