1. Bandingkan bagian bagian yang berbeda dalam suatu graph, dan gunakan relative
clause:
1. The income of Lovely Loaves fell significantly to around £40,000 in 2008, which meant that it
earned far less than the other bakeries.
2. The income of Lovely Loaves started at about 80.000 in 2000, which meant that it earned
approximately four times more than Bernie’s Buns.
3. The income of Bernie’s Buns started at about 20.000 in 2000, which meant that it earned approximately
four times less than that of Lovely Loaves.
4. The income of Lovely Loaves fell slightly to around £80,000 in 2003, which meant that it earned
around / about / approximately two times more than Bernie’s Buns.
5. Between 2005 and 2006, Lovely Loaves slightly fell by around £5000 which meant that it became
the second highest earnings compared that of 2005.

4. Tambahkan superlative:
1. Lovely Loaves earned just over £80,000 in 2000. This meant that it had the highest income
of the three bakeries in that year.
5. Group data into a period of time:
1. There was a significant fluctuation in the income of Lovely Loaves in the first half of the
decade.

Mari kita melaju ke overview, jadi perbedaan mendasar antara data tren dan compararison adalah
pada aturan ‘langkah 2’ (kita hanya menghilangkan Langkah 1, sehingga kita bisa langsung
memakai langkah 2 dan 3):
1. Buatlah expression / frase (what stands out from the graph is that …
2. Simpulkan kedalam sebuah perbandingan dan tipe yang paling sering digunakan adalah
superlative adakah data yang paling banyak / tinggi? Adakah data yang paling rendah /
kecil? Teman teman bisa menggunakan susunan superlatives (highest, least, most, fewest)
biasanya dipakai. For example, which item accounted for the most sold ? or and which one
accounted for the least?

Naahh, selain menggunakan tipe comparative dengan akhhiran –er / -est / more/less /the
most / the least, kita juga bisa menggabungkan dengan beberapa adverb. Berikut ini
beberapa adverb yang bisa dipakai untuk menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan benda / barang
yang dibandingkan cukup besar / banyak / kecil / sedikit.
