rays are produced in the glassworks of
Murano, in Venice where copies of the
eighteenth century have survived. These
glasses, also called "gondola glasses",

Photochromic glasses
• Photochromic glasses are
characterized by lenses whose coloring
varies depending on the external
brightness, behaving like sunglasses
with variable brightness reduction,
from almost nothing to very high.
The sloping glasses

• The sloping glasses have a variable

coloring, and therefore a changing
brightness transmission on the lens.
The upper part blocks most of the solar
radiation, while the lower one is more
transparent: for these characteristics
are particularly suitable for driving
vehicles.
