CEILING
A ceiling is an overhead interior surface
that covers the upper limits of a room. It is
not generally considered a structural
element, but a finished surface concealing
the underside of the roof structure or the
floor of a storey above. Ceilings can be
decorated to taste, and there are many fine
examples of frescoes and artwork on ceilings
especially in religious buildings.

Coffered ceilings are
formed with recessed
panels surrounded
by dropped beams
that create a grid
pattern. It’s a classic
ceiling design from
Greek and Roman
architecture.

barrel vault, marked by groves.

heraldic motifs.
Beam Ceiling

increasing in popularity.
 While beams have been more
traditional incorporated into a
more rustic décor, they are
increasingly evident in eclectic
home designs that combine
styles, such as contemporary-
mountain.

ceiling can create
interesting depth and contrast.
 Beams can be finished using a
variety of hardwood or interior
trim and moulding options.

Gypsum Ceiling

decorating inside of
industrial and office
buildings. These are

to install. Its
advantage is it reduces
impact of heat.

classic ceiling
designs. These are
popular from
ancient times for
ceiling decoration.
Acoustic Ceiling
Acoustic ceilings are
widely used for
decorating the
residentials as well as
commercials.
Installation of acoustic
ceiling is very easy and it
requires little skill and
experience. The main
advantage of this ceiling
is its ability to block
noise between different
floors.
