GATSBY: I choose bill cobbs to play gatsby because I feel like he has the same mysterious vibe that gatsby does and they both are very generous and
caring people that will do anything in their power to help others.
Daisy: I choose Blake lively to play daisy because she is a very happy and bubbly person and i feel like that matches daisy’s personality very well. In
gossip girl all of the boys were obsessed with blake/serena and in the great gatsby Tom and Gatsby were both in love with Daisy.
Tom: I chose Ed Westwick to play Tom because he is very wealthy just like tom and they both kind of have a mean and determined side to them
where they don’t care about anything or anyone and they will do whatever it takes in order to get what they want even if it means hurting people
around them.
Myrtle: I choose kate walsh to play myrtle because they are both red heads so they look similar, and in the show Greys anatomy Addison/Kate Walsh
had an affair and in the Great Gatsby Myrtle has an affair with tom.. THey both have a loving and kind personality but they both lack loyalty.
Jordan: I choose zendaya to play jordan because similar to jordan zendaya doesn’t stay inside the female stereotype, she does her own thing and
doesn’t really care what anyone thinks of her. They are both confident and independent women that don’t rely on men for protection or validation.
Nick: I choose cole sprouse to play nick because after watching the great gatsby and seeing nick i felt like they both look very similar and give off the
same vibes. They both are young men who somehow remain unproblematic and stay out of drama when tensions are high. They are the type of people
that everyone goes to to talk because people trust them,
George: I choose ryan Gosling to play george because in the movie the notebook Ryan Gosling’s Character was very similar to george. Ryan Gosling
played the role of a poor man who was falling in love, George was also very poor and he was madly in love with Myrtle.
