• teaches the skills
needed to design,
develop, implement,
maintain, support or
operate a particular
technology or related
application, product or
service.

• one that meets all eight
standards. To meet a
standard, your training must
address each required
attribute. Also your training
should address the additional
attributes (listed below the
required attributes) if they
apply to your specific learners
or training goals.

• designed to provide
employees with the targeted
training they need to gain the
knowledge and abilities
necessary to fulfill the
specific requirements of their
job positions, there are also
special training programs for
new graduates who are just
getting started in the
workplace.
Soft Skills Training
• non-technical skills that can
define how we interact with
others and build relationships.
These skills are applicable to all
workplaces and relate to skills
such as public speaking or
leadership. Soft skills are also
known as core skills and
common skills.

• defined as training in which
teams are used to increase
individual procedural
knowledge and proficiency in
doing a job (taskwork),

functioning as part of a team
(teamwork), and overall team
performance.

• a program that seeks to
transition an employee from
having a team member to
team leader mindset. Or in
other words, an individual
contributor to managing a
team. It also focuses on all
the various soft skills that
aids with enhanced team
work and productive
relationships.
Safety Training
• describes the set of
activities aimed at
providing workers with
the knowledge and skills
to perform their duties
safely and effectively.
