ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

Lung- are a pair of spongy, air-filled organs located on either

side of the chest (thorax). The trachea (windpipe) conducts in-
haled air into the lungs through its tubular branches, called
bronchi. The bronchi then divide into smaller and smaller
branches (bronchioles), finally becoming microscopic.

Airways- The path that air follows to get into and out of the
lungs
PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
Asthma is a disease that affects the airways of your lungs. With
asthma, your airways' lining tends to always be in a hypersensitive
state characterized by redness and swelling (inflammation). It's
similar to how your skin becomes red, irritated and sensitive after
a sunburn. This hypersensitive state makes the airways react to
things that you are exposed to every day, or asthma "triggers." A
trigger could be the common cold, stress, changes in the weather,
or things in the environment, such as dust, chemicals, smoke and
pet dander

CONCLUSION
The asthma really affects the responsibility of Mrs. L because
she cannot take care of her children, they cannot do such
works if ever her asthma attacks on her. Sometimes she just
lied on her children just to do such cares and chores. No,
Mrs. L doesn’t have any ongoing care. Yes, she knows what
her disease is. It has really a big help in conducting this
research to be able to know how to cure the said disease. It
also has a big impact for us to know the different medicines
to take if ever it would happen in our family member.

Mrs. L really help us in knowing such thing like the medicine

to be take and how it will be cured if ever there’s no money
to be treated in hospital. Conducting this case study also
help us in order for us to know what are the organs that
has been affected in having an asthma.
