Adverb of time
• Information about the time the verb takes place
• Now, yesterday, tomorrow, later, yet, already, today…..
• I will finish my assignment tomorrow.
Adverb of place
• Tell us where the verb is taking place
• Outside, inside, upstairs, downstairs, here/there, under…
• She went upstairs when her mom scolded her.
Adverb of manner
• Provide information how a verb is done.
• Slowly, quickly, happily, loudly, beautifully… .
• He drives the car slowly.
Adverb of frequency
• Tell us how often something occurs.
• Always, usually, normally, often, sometimes, occasionally, seldom, rarely,
never
• I always read a book in my free time.

• Describe the level or intensity of a verb, adverb and adjective.
• Very, Quite, almost, completely….
