Introduction
To present the research material in a systematic and predefined manner
Proper balance between the thinking of the researcher and the requirement of
the sponsoring agency is important
Report must contain all the important ingredients of the research in a
systematic and predetermined manner
A research report is an oral presentation or written statement whose
purpose is
to communicate research results, strategic recommendations
Deals primarily with the final written report required by an extensive research
project

• Tables are very effective tools for presenting data
• Allows writer to point out significant features
• Only relevant and important tables in the body part
• Use of important tables in the Appendix part
• Each table should have a proper table number
• Every table should have an appropriate title ready
• Explanation of the table entries should be properly supported by the footnotes
• Important to provide the source from where the table is taken
The table shows the sales of four leading cement companies: which if
arranged in descriptive paragraphs will be very difficult to understand
