Peter Weir was born in Sydney on the 21st of August 1944.

he released his first film in 1974, Les Voitures qui ont mangé Paris (The Cars That Ate Paris)

 The

Truman Burbank is an insurance agent. He lives peacefully with his

wife in the paradise town of Seahaven, filled with friendly people,
identical houses and clean gardens. But Truman wants to travel, to
discover new things. Yet everything seems to force Truman to stay in
the city. He doesn't know it, but he is the hero of a reality show and he
has been filmed since he was born.

 in this clip we see truman predicting what is going to happen because these
people pass by here every day at the same time. at first his wife doesn't believe
him and tries to tell him it's a coincidence but when the people pass by in exactly
the order predicted he realises something is wrong.
