What is fasting ?
Fasting is when we do not eat or drink from Fajr/dawn
until maghrib/sunset.
Why do we fast ?
Why Ramadan is very special?

During the month of Ramadan, we have the


chance to gain a lot of rewards when we do
good deeds.
What is the Night of Al-Qadr ?

Laylat Al-Qadr was the night when the Quran was first sent
down to Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him).
What are the benefits of fasting ?

- To gain Allah’s rewards and forgiveness.

- To train us to have patience and self control.

- To make us more humble and appreciate the


blessings that Allah has given us.

- To train us to maintain good manners.

- To have a healthier body and a stronger mind.


Conclusion

Ramadan is a time of fasting, for the Muslims to grow closer to


their God, Allah. It is the ninth month of the islamic calendar. It is a
form of self restraint, health, spiritual and psychological benefits.
