 SHIVA THAPA
Shiva Thapa is an Indian boxer born on 8th December,1993. He became the youngest Indian
to qualify for the Olympics. He participated in the 2012 London Olympics. He is also the
third Indian to clinch a gold at the Asian games. He is also the third Indian to win a medal
at the  AIBA World Boxing Championships.
• He is currently employed by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation
Ltd and is supported by the  Olympic Gold Quest and Anglian
Medal Hunt Company.
• For his tremendous success and hard work the government of India
bestowed upon him the prestigious Arjuna Award.
• He won many medals at the international level like the gold medal
at the Tokyo Olympic test in 2019,  silver at 2017 Asian
Amateur Boxing Championships in Tashkent and many more.
• He was highly inspired by the boxing legend Mike Tyson.
• Today Shiva Thapa himself continues to inspire the youth of India
to take up boxing and represent India at international levels.
