My background
• Reading, Berkshire.
• UTC Reading – Chemistry, L3 Diploma Engineering.
• BMW Maintenance Eng. Apprenticeship – MINI Plant Oxford.
Experience whilst at the ASK
• Great opportunity to mix with cohort/ other apprentices.
• Provides foundation aviation knowledge.
Highlight so far
• Relationship between all apprentices in cohort – Outward Bound.
• Planned placement secondment to Qatar.
What am I doing now
• ITT – Delivering Typhoon/ Hawk capability to Qatar (First placement).
Top 3 tips for a successful experience
• Set up a suitable work from home environment. Cohort 7 Outward Bound - March 2022
• Don’t get intimidated by acronyms – start learning them as soon as you can.
• Ask loads of questions!

Harry Bamford – Technician L4
Background:
- Straight from College. Got A-Levels in Maths Physics and Geography.
- Fed up of classroom learning after COVID. Didn’t want to go to Uni.
- Second year apprentice.

2nd Year+; Warton and Samlesbury Post ASK: 5 Day Working Week (Flexible Hours)
Under 18’s Max. 8 hours Working Time
12th September – Induction Week: Monday ASK, Online Tues/Weds
