Councils (LDCs)

organizations operating in the barangay who
shall constitute not less than one fourth (¼) of

PDRRM Act of (a) Mandates Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction
2010 and Management Committee (BDRRMC) as the
(Republic Act 10121) Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office
(DRRMO) in every barangay.

(b) The BDRRMC shall be responsible for

setting the direction, development,
implementation and coordination of disaster
risk management programs within their
territorial jurisdictions.

Climate Change Act Section 2: Declaration of Policy
