Which statement is correct and why?

1:
Indicator “all night long”
a. I haven't slept all night long.
& it sounds more natural !
b. I haven't been sleeping all night long.

2:
a. She has read Romeo and Juliet for four months.
b. She has been reading Romeo and Juliet for four months.

“for four months” indicates that the action has not finished
- We use PPC when the activity is ongoing
for a period of time, is unfinished or is
repeated over a period of time.

- We use PPS when we see an action as a


single fact with a present result, especially
when we consider it complete
