DEFINITION

The Greenhouse Gases (GHG) are the gasses contained in the atmosphere both
naturally and anthropogenically which absorb and re-emit infrared radiation..

GHG Emission are the discharge of GHGs into the atmosphere in a certain area at a
certain period of time.

GHG absorption is the absorption of GHG from the atmosphere in a certain area
within a certain period of time.

Carbon stock is the amount of carbon that accumulates in carbon pools (carbon pools)
on land and sea within a certain period.

DEFINITION

GHG inventory is an activity to obtain data and information on the level, status,
and trends of changes in GHG emissions periodically from various sources of
emissions (sinks) and their sinks (sinks) including carbon stocks.

Activity data are quantities of activities or human activities that can release and / or
absorb GHGs.

Emission factor is the amount of GHG emissions released into the atmosphere per
certain activity unit.

DEFINITION OF GHG MITIGATION

Mitigation of climate change is the effort to control and to reduce the risks of the
impacts of climate change through activities that may reduce the emissions and/or
increase the absorption of GHGs from various emission sources.

National Action Plan for GHG Emission Reduction (RAN-GRK) is a work plan
document for the implementation of various activities both directly and indirectly to
reduce GHG emissions in accordance with the national development targets.

Regional Action Plan for GHG Emission Reduction (RAD-GRK) is a work plan
document for the implementation of various activities both directly and indirectly to
reduce GHG emissions in accordance with regional development targets.
