make it difficult to gain traction and establish a presence.

company's entrepreneurial skills.
As a company that operates in the technology industry, Google needs to
constantly innovate and develop new products to stay competitive and meet
the changing needs of its customers. Effective product portfolio development
requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep

CHALLENGES FACED BY GOOGLE WITH RESPECT
TO MARKETING
1. Competition: Google faces intense competition from other major tech
companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook, as well as smaller
players in the tech industry. This means that Google must constantly work
to differentiate itself and stay ahead of the competition.

2. Privacy concerns: In recent years, there has been growing concern among
consumers and lawmakers about data privacy and how tech companies like
Google collect and use user data. Google has faced criticism for its data
collection practices, and this has led to increased scrutiny and regulation of
the company.
3. Ad blocking: Many consumers are turning to ad-blocking software to avoid
being bombarded with ads while they browse the web. This presents a
challenge for Google, which relies heavily on advertising revenue to generate
profits.
4. Mobile-first world: As more and more consumers access the internet
through their mobile devices, Google must ensure that its products and
services are optimized for mobile. This includes developing mobile-friendly
websites, creating mobile apps, and delivering mobile-targeted ads.
5. Brand perception: Google has faced criticism over the years for issues
ranging from antitrust concerns to accusations of censorship. These
controversies can negatively impact the company's brand perception and
make it more difficult to attract and retain customers.
