Maglalatik. The Maglalatik (also known as
Manlalatik or Magbabao) is an
indigenous dance from the Philippines in
which coconut shell halves that are secured
onto the dancers' hands and on vests upon
which are hung four or six more coconut
shell halves.
The Itik-Itik dance is popular among the
Visayan settlers of the province of Surigao
del Norte. ... It is not the national folk dance.
Thedance is believed to have originated
from the dance Sibay danced to the Dejado
music. The Sibay is a bird dance that came
