Subjunctive atau angan angan digunakan untuk menyatakan/mengungkapkan kejadian,


keinginan ataupun kenyataan yang bertentangan dengan apa yang sesungguhnya ada atau
sesungguhnya terjadi

1. Subjunctive “Wish” = I wish = Saya Inginnya = Future Conditional/ Type 1


Subjunctive wish dapat digabungkan dengan Past Simple, Past Perfect, dan Would/Could + V1
Dapat digabungkan Wish + Past Simple, Wish + Past Perfect, Wish + Would + V1 (Infinitive)

2. Subjunctive “If Only” = Kalau Saja (Lebih ngayal dibandingkan wish) =

3. Subjunctive “Would rather” = ngarepnya sih (Mengungkapkan harapan untuk situasi yang
diinginkan tapi tidak terjadi, “Kecewa”) = Past Conditional / Type 3
