Interview refers to all types of planned, face-to-face encounters


in which at least
one of the participants has a specific objective in mind. 
 It is an exchange of thoughts, feelings, & attitudes , in which, ideas,
goodwill, &
understanding can grow as a result of the efforts of the
individuals involves.

MEETING

A business meeting is a gathering where purposive discourse occurs among three

more people who exchange information on a common topic or problem.

A. Preparation for a
Meeting

I. The Pre-Meeting
Period
The agenda should include: 
* Date, time, and place of meeting;
*Topic for discussion; 
* Subtopics to be examined; 
* List of participants; and 
* Materials (if applicable) to be reviewed prior to the
session.
* Make all necessary physical preparations

II. Meeting Procedure Page 14

 The meeting leader/ chairperson should: obtain participation,


move through the agenda, begin and end on time,
secure
decisions when needed, thank the participants for their
preparation, participation, and attendance.
 The meeting leader should appoint someone to take notes-
secretary.

III. Post Meeting Period

 Although the meeting has been held and the participants


have
dispersed , the session is not yet over. 
 It requires some follow-up.
