Listening for gist and details, identifying listening contexts, comparing
information, recognizing speaker’s opinion.
SPEAKING:
Show speaking ability confidently and quite naturally about different topics.

Preliminary English Test (PET) and First Cambridge Certificate (FCE)
TEST FORMAT
LISTENING: 
 25 QUESTIONS
 Part 1: multiple choice questions (PET type) (5 questions)
 Part 2: YES/ NO questions (PET type) (5 questions)
 Part 3: FCE part 1 (8 questions)
 Part 4: Fill in the blank (FCE type) (7 questions)

SPEAKING
 Part 1- FCE questions related to individuals, hobbies, jobs, study, hometown,… (3 questions/ 1 candidate)
 Part 2 – (Speaking part 2 FCE): Describe a picture and give viewpoints 
 Part 3 – Extended questions ( 2 questions/ 1 candidate)

LESSON PREPARATION
+ Prepare 1 lexical item (Pronunciation, meaning, use and 3 examples) –
level B1+
+ Present in front of the class.
In each lesson, there will be at least 5 presenters.
If group A learns Speaking, group B prepares the lexical items, vice versa.

Throughout the course, if you are:
 Completely present, punctual and prepared: +9
 Dynamic: +0.25 for each time.
 Absent without a reason: -1
 Absent with a justifiable reason: -0.5
 Unpunctual: -0.5
 Unprepared: -2
ASSESSMENT – A2 (30%)
