HYDRO MILLING
 Hydro Milling, also known as water jetting, retro-jetting or hydro-jetting,
is an efficient method of cleaning industrial piping through the
implementation of high pressure water nozzles and jets
 Newly installed process piping typically contains amounts of foreign
debris that are residual deposits that can potentially compromise
system reliability and lead to premature system degradation and
catastrophic failure during plant operation.
 In order to help preserve the long-term integrity of these process
piping systems, Hydro Milling can be used to remove all undesirable
foreign contaminants and particulate matter.

WATER/HYDRO MILLING SERVICE OR HYDRO WATER JETTING

• Hydro-milling is a special Hydro-jetting method to clean extra hard deposits
in the pipelines, process pipe system for De-coking, de-cruding, removal of
hard deposits such as polymers, Resins and hard crude deposits
• With Hydro Mailling is possible clean pipes from 3” up to 60” diameter and
up to length of 200 Meters without having to cut the pipeline or fittings such
as 45/90 degree elbows, bends
• It is a cost effective and safer method to clean pipelines for both pre-
commission stage and operational stage cleaning
• It is cost effective over chemical cleaning and other traditional methods of
cleaning and leaves pipes fully cleaned leaving no traces or streaks after
cleaning.

vessels, reactors, towers, columns, heat exchangers, pipelines, storage
tanks, fin fan condensers, cooling towers

equipments and accessories required for this like multi flexible lancers, multi
rigid lancers, 2-d nozzles for piping inside cleaning , 3-d nozzles for tank
cleaning without man entry
• Water jetting units handle pressures from 10000 PSIG up to 40000 PSIG, in
order to guarantee an excellent Hydromechanical Cleaning

THE HYDRO-MILLING PROCESS

• During the hydro-milling process, water is pumped at high pressure through
a self-propelled high pressure nozzle engineered for pipe wall cleaning at
service pressures between 5000 to 40000 psi
• The attached hose is then sent through a bi-directional feeder and rotated at
operator-controlled rates into the piping. The rotational motion of the hose
allows the nozzle to easily negotiate 90° elbows, piping turns, and directional
changes, in addition to providing full surface area cleaning throughout the
entire pipe circumference.
• Complex vertical and horizontal lengths of pipe with diameters between 2” to
30” are easily traversed with full cleaning capacity. Simple horizontal straight-
length pipelines with diameters exceeding 30” can also be cleaned
sufficiently.

THE HYDRO-MILLING PROCESS

• Hydro-milling has the capability of providing a 1250 ft. horizontal and/or 350
ft. vertical cleaning spread.
• All loose debris is efficiently driven out of the system through the intelligent
operation of the built-in rear jets. Therefore, by withdrawing the high pressure
nozzle during operation, all debris is pushed out of the line in a predictable
and controlled manner.
• When the system is equipped with auxiliary heating, hydro-milling can also
be performed in subzero conditions
