There are three methods of

measuring flow
• Venturi meter
• Orifice plate meter
• Rotameter
• Venturi meter
are flow measurement instruments which use a converging section
of pipe to give an increase in the flow velocity and a corresponding
pressure drop from which the flowrate can be deduced.
• Orifice plate meter
is a type of differential pressure flow meter that is commonly used in
clean liquid, gas, and stream mass flow measurement.
• Rotameter
is a flow meter that measures the volumetric flow of liquids and
gases.
