Landfills are one of the major
contributors to environmental
problems. As our population
continues to grow, so does the
amount of waste we produce.
This waste, which includes
everything from organic material
to plastic, metal, glass, and paper,
ends up in landfills where it can
take hundreds of years to
decompose. This not only takes
up valuable space but also
releases harmful chemicals and
gases into the environment,
contributing to pollution and
climate change.
There are ways to reduce the

landfills. One option is to utilize

nutrient-rich compost that can be
used to fertilize plants.
