Climate change is caused by Global
Warming . Climate change refers to long
term shifts in temperature weather
patterns . These shifts maybe natural ,
but since 1800s , human activities
have been the main driver of climate
change .

Global warming is a condition caused by
the level of greenhouse gases trapped in the
Earth’s atmosphere . For years our planet
Earth has been able to maintain its surface
temprature because of greenhouse gases .
But because of the recent human activities ,
the greenhouse gases such as CO2 have
started to make our Earth warmer.

ii : Greenhouse Effect
Greenhouse effect is the process of global
warming . Some gases like Carbondioxide ,
Methane , Nitrogen di oxide e.t.c trap heat
in the Earth’s atmosphere . These gases have
kept our planet Earth warm for centuries ,
but because we humans have released huge
quantities of these gases in the atmosphere ,
the gases have started trapping more heat
according to their quantities . That is called

What are two causes of climate change ?

Some of the causes of climate change are :
i. Deforestation
Deforestation is one of the greatest reasons of
climate change and global warming . Because
the trees absorb the most common greenhouse
gas Carbondioxide , a decrease in the
number of trees means an increase in
Carbondioxide , which in turn means hotter
temperatures ( an affect of global warming).

ii : Burning of fossil fuels
In (mostly ) rural areas , fossil fuels are
used for a wide range of purposes e.g
lighting lamps , cooking food , e.t.c . In
vehicles , crude oil is used as fuel. This
releases greenhouse gases in the atmosphere
