 CARTESIAN COORDINATE PLANE is composed with
two perpendicular number line that meet at the point of
origin (0,0) and divided the plane into 4 regions called
quadrants.

 Each point in the coordinate plane is composed of ordered


pairs (x,y).
 Example : (3,4) (-5,7)
 The First coordinate of a point is called the x-coordinate
or Abscissa and the second coordinate kis the y-coordinate
or the Ordinate.
