INTRODUCTION
Climate change refers to the long-term and significant alteration
of global weather patterns and temperatures, primarily caused
by human activities such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation,
and agriculture. It is also known as global warming or
anthropogenic climate change

Climate change is a complex and urgent issue that requires

global action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, adapt to the
impacts that are already occurring, and mitigate further changes.
DEFINITION

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

(UNFCC) defines climate change as a change which is attributed
directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the composition
of the global atmosphere and an addition to natural climate
variability observed over comparable time periods.

"Climate change refers to significant changes in global

temperature, precipitation, wind patterns and other measures of
climate that occur over several decades or longer"
HISTORY OF CLIMATE CHANGE
In 1824 the French physicist Joseph Fourier first describe green
house effect.
In 1861the irish scientist John Tyndal show that C02 and H2O can
cause in climate change
In1895Swedish chemistSvate arhenius will enhancethe the
industrial age coal burning and nural green house effect .
In 1958 the Charles david monitoring the CO2 level in atmosphere.
During the 1970 other green house gases CH4 N2O and CFCS
were widely recognized as important anthrapogenic green house
gases.
In 1979 the first world climate conference in Geneva leading in the
establishment of the world climate programme
In 1988 establishment of IPCC by world meterological department.
In 1990 delivered its first assessment report on climate change
increase in temperature of 0.3degree centigrade in 21st century.
CAUSES OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Green house gases

Reflectivity or absorption of the sun energy
Changes in the earth orbit and rotation
Variations in solar activity
Changes in earth reflectivity
Volcanic activity
Industrial emission
Deforestation
Automobile emission
Modernization
EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Green house gases rising earth surface temperature

Loss of spieces
Weather pattern become unpredictable it affects food prodection
Effect on wildlife
Ocean acidification
Increasing sea level rise
Effects on plant
Hurricanes also disturb the businesses
Effects on infrastructure
SOLUTION TO STOP CLIMATE CHANGE

Stop deforestation
Reduse how much people consume
Reduse plastic
Protect the ocean
Protect the forest
Restore the nature to absorb the carbon
Switch of the light when no use
Sustainable transport
Keep fossil fuel in the ground.
