What is an analogy?
•An analogy is a way of stating a
comparative relationship between two
sets of terms. It is a popular way to
make sure that people understand the
connections between words or ideas.
1) Synonyms are words that have similar
meanings. They can be lifesavers when you want
to avoid repeating the same word over and over.

Examples: funny -
humorous, comical,
hilarious, hysterical
2. Antonyms are words with opposite meanings.
Antonyms aren’t words with just slightly different
meanings. They are complete and total
opposites!

part or component of the other word.

Example:

4) Cause and Effect relationship is shown
