Production Monitoring System (PMS)
 ISSUES

1. It has been running for 4 years but has not Go Live just yet
2. The sistem almost completed but it requires users to verify the data
(UAT)
3. User somewhat reclutant to verify the data because they already have
a system that has been used for a long time and has been developed
according to their need.
4. BPK and KPK urged PMS to be done soon
5. There is disagreement in the TSI work unit in PMS development due
to differences in framework
Drilling Monitoring System (D-MOS)
 ISSUES
1. Internal Division of TSI will be carried out the entry stage of
development program
2. Users have great desire to be involved, but the development of D-
MOS is still neglected by TSI Division, as they are more focused
on the development of PMS
3. Resources are limited resulting a slow progress
4. Choosing differences framework at the internal unit making the one
that not chosen passive and not did help much
Budgeting and Reporting Manager
(BUREM)
 ISSUES
1. Develop by an external vendor from one year ago but the
development encountered problems which causes a dispute with
the vendor
2. Users don’t want use it presumably it does not suit their needs
3. The PIC of the TSI Division who previously handle BUREM
development refuse to get involved at all in the
enhancement/improvement in BUREM
Another Issues
 ISSUES
1. Head of TSI Division which is the highest authority just got
elected, so he can not use his authority as he has not received
problems insight related to condition that occurred in the team
2. IC (Internal Control) asking team to sharing result of assesment
3. KPK and BPK asking that PMS must be “Go Live” in the end of
2014

 The output will be:
1. Users requirement for the application
2. Analysis benefit and risk about PMS and existing application
3. Mapping development framework for PMS
4. Strict control about PMS development

 The output will be:
1. Having discussion about which framework is better than another
2. Having agreement for better work environment if another
framework had not chosen
3. Employee should do their work without lame to one application
Analysis the risk and benefit D-MOS
development
 The output will be:
1. Conduct an assessment of user needs at D-MOS
2. Availability TSI team when do the development
3. Analysis risk and benefit from the inside and the outside
Research About BUREM
 The output will be:
1. Application development that has been carried out by vendor with
references to common application development practice
2. Identification of user requirements for the application
Research for another issue
 The output will be:
1. Head of TSI Division should take an action to solve problem as
soon as possible
2. Do the assessment and Sharing the result of assessment with
Internal Control (IC)
3. Finishing the PMS before the end of 2014, so PMS can go Live as
requested by BPK and KPK
