Introduction (2)
 Simulation setup

• Cooling fan diameter : 50 mm

• Domain size :

• Rotational velocity : 3350 rpm

• Receiver locations : (0,0,-0.8) m & (0,0,-0.4) m

• Time step : 1.25e-05

Results (1)
 In the results of acoustic pressure, apart from the time difference caused by the distance between the two receivers,
the magnitudes are mostly similar.

Results (2)
 It can be observed that there is relatively higher energy in the low-frequency range (0-3000 Hz) and the high-
frequency range (18000-20000 Hz).

Results (3)
 After applying FFT, it can be observed that there is minimal difference in the decibel levels measured by the two
receivers.

Future work
 To conduct a more comprehensive literature review on setting up the simulation domain for acoustic
simulation and achieving more accurate results.

 Adjust the receiver distance to obtain data that conforms to the values measured in the experiment.
