Differences between Freud’s

Psychosexual Theory and Erikson’s


Psychosocial Theory of
Development.
Number 1:
● The major difference in the Freud and Erikson’s Theory is that Freud emphasizes
the biological factors of a child’s development, meanwhile, Erikson emphasizes
the effect of the environment on the child’s development and also it’s reaction to
it.
