as controlled pitch and
timbre.
The sounds are produced by
instruments in which the periodic
vibrations can be controlled by the
performer vibration of a reed.
Example:
• CRYING BABY

• CLAPPING
• TALKING
Silence making no sound, quiet,
refraining from speech, speechless
and mute.
Example:
• Sleeping baby
• Reading at the library
• Writing
• Thinking
Rhythm:Rhythm is music's pattern in
time.
Rhythm refers to the length of time between each
major "beat", or accent, such as in a piece of
music. It is the sequence of sounds and silences
which make up the rhythm.
