• What is a Management System?
– In simple terms, a “Management System” is an
integrated, documented process that describes how a
company will achieve its objectives
– A Management System is composed of several
elements, connected together in a logical way
– Controls and corrections are performed to continuously
improve the system
– Next slides will show a schematic diagram of the
Management System

Business Processes
Schlumberger Private
• QHSE Vision Commitment, Leadership and
Accountability
– We envision a quality and service culture that enables
us to exceed customer expectations, actively involve
and empower all employees in the continuous
improvement process, and enhance profitable growth.
• QHSE Culture
– QHSE, a line management responsibility, with the
support of all employees, requires visible commitment,
leadership and involvement. Our proactive QHSE
culture shall be understood, shared and practiced by all
employees as an integral part of everyday business.
Fundamental to this culture is our belief that all losses
of people, property and process result from
management system failure and are preventable.
