Al-Baqarah 2:286
The Last 2 Verses in Al-Baqarah

• From Abu Mas’ud (RA), Rasulullah SAW said:

If somebody recited the last two verses of Surah al-Baqarah at night, that will
be sufficient for him.

Al-Baqarah: 285
The Messenger has believed in what was
revealed to him from his Lord, and [so
‫ءآَم َن الَّر سوُل ِبما ُأنِزَل ِإَليِه ِم ن َّرِّبِه‬
have] the believers. ‫ۚ َو الُم ؤِم نوَن‬
All of them have believed in Allah and
His angels and His books and His ‫ُك ٌّل ءآَم َن ِباِهَّلل َو َم َلٰٓـِٕٮَك ِتِهۦ َو ُك ُتِبِه َو ُرُس ِلِه ال ُنَفِّر ُق‬
‫ۚ َبيَن َأَح ٍد ِّم ن ُّر ُس ِلِه‬
messengers, [saying], “We make no
distinction between any of His
messengers.”
And they say, “We hear and we obey. ‫ۖ َو قالوا َسِم عنا َو َأَطعنا‬
[We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord,
and to You is the [final] destination.” ‫ُغ فراَنَك َر َّبنا َو ِإَليَك الَم صيُر‬
Al-Baqarah: 286
Allah does not charge a soul except [with that
within] its capacity.
‫ۚ ال ُيَك ِّلُف ُهَّللا َنفًس ا ِإاّل ُو سَعها‬
It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has
gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what
‫ۗ َلها ما َك َسَبت َو َع َليها َم ا اكَتَسَبت‬
‫ۚ َرَّبنا ال ُتؤاِخ ذنا ِإن َّنسينا َأو َأخَطأنا‬
[evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose
blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred.
Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that
which You laid upon those before us. ‫َرَّبنا َو ال َتحِم ل َع َلينا ِإصًر ا َك ما َح َم لَتُه َع َلى اَّلذيَن‬
Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we
have no ability to bear. ‫ۚ ِم ن َقبِلنا‬
And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy
upon us. ‫ۖ َرَّبنا َو ال ُتَح ِّم لنا ما ال طاَقَة َلنا ِبِه‬
You are our protector, so give us victory over the
disbelieving people.” ‫ۚ َو اعُف َع ّنا َو اغِفر َلنا َو ارَح منا‬
‫َأنَت َم وَلٰٮَنا َفانُص رنا َع َلى الَقوِم الٰك ِفريَن‬
