Nature of communication

Communication and the levels of language

Communication and language are inseparable. Through language, you are able to put
together your thoughts through words. You use language to communicate like sharing ideas,

connotative language (CL). The former refers to the dictionary
meaning of a word or its lexicon while the latter refers to the
suggestive meaning of a word or its metaphoric meaning.

political and cultural assimilation and interconnectedness of different
cultures which result in the integration of people across the globe
(Gamble, et.al.,2013)

Globalization refers to the heightened interconnectedness of


different parts of the world through common processes to effect changes
in the economy and other disciplinal angles in societal contexts.
Globalization is seen to affect the social, economic, cultural and political
interactions on a global scale.

The Role of Research in Globalization

 Research has played pivotal role in in global communication. Take


for instance the case of Mc Donald’s Corporation, an American
fast-food company and other established businesses all over the
world. The success of the business basically comes from the fact
that constant research is done to upgrade products and services.
Research-based findings are baseline information to innovate on
certain products and services. Similarly, mass media have made
leaps in the advertisements of products worldwide.
