Well, there is good news for you! You are not alone in this bad
communicator journey. Many people on this planet are also
socially awkward, but they overcome their fear of
communicating with lots and lots of practice.
1. Be a Good Listener
Communication isn’t always about speaking, since it is a two-way cycle in which you are both
listening and speaking skills. Clear communication always starts with active listening, so
always pay attention to what other people are saying. And then you can easily come up with
a good response.
2. Have empathy
Empathy means relating yourself to another person. Having empathy for the person you are
talking to allows you to create a bond with them and enhances your communication skills.
3. Pay attention to your Body Language
Non-verbal communication adds flavor to your bland communication. Try to respond by
having hand gestures, eye contact, or having the right posture, with these actions your
partner will see you more engaged with the topic.
Note: Never slouch when you’re communicating with someone, especially on formal
occasions. And try not to touch your phone when you’re communicating since it may seem
rude and unprofessional.
4. Be Confident
Through communication we express ourselves a lot to other people, so don’t hesitate to be
expressive and more confident. Confidence helps us to become more appealing to other
people, so let loose and have fun.

Also, communication helps me interact more with people and gain deeper bonds with them. Through
this action, I have long-time friends and connections to other human beings.
