Mama Says
Betty is a very kind and obedient little girl. She
always follows what her mother would say to
her. One day, her mother asks her to do
something, “Betty, kindly get me a glass of
water, I am so thirsty”. Mama said. “Yes Mama”,
answered Betty. Later in the afternoon, Betty’s
mother decided to go to the market and Betty will
be left alone at home. “Betty, I’ll be going to the
market, please don’t touch my newly bought
glass figurine, you might get hurt”, Mama said.
“I will, Mama”, Betty replied. When her mother
left, Betty was so curious about the figurine and
disobey her mother. Betty gets the figurine and
hold it, unexpectedly her father came home
early, and Betty was so shock that she drops off
the figurine. “Ouch! Ouch! It hurts!”, cried
Betty. “Oh! Betty! What happened?” her father
exclaimed.
