Statement of Purpose

 In line with the LRCP Reading Program and Mathematics


Program Activities, this region through the Curriculum and
Learning Management Division (CLMD) conducted this
virtual orientation on the administration of Early Grades
Assessment for literacy and numeracy.

 This activity aims to:


 discuss the processes, strategies, and standards of
National Reading Program (NRP) and National
Mathematics Program (NMP);
 re-orient the guidelines in the administration of
Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment (CRLA) and
Rapid Mathematics Assessment (RMA); and
 present timeline in the administration and reporting of
the Early Grade Assessment for Literacy and Numeracy.

Ways Forward
• Preparation and Submission of Report
1. District MTB/Filipino/English/Mathematics
Coordinators shall work hand in hand with the
District ELLN Coordinator in the preparation of the
reports.
2. District ELLN Coordinator shall submit the report to
the Division Focal Person in soft copy only.

Ways Forward
• For Lerio’s concern only
1. There will only be one coordinator in English for
elementary and secondary levels
2. No more district coordinators for Reading and LAC
since LAC is already under the care of the SGOD thru
HRD and Reading concerns will be taken cared of by
the English Coordinator
3. There will still be a District ELLN Coordinator
4. LAC ELLN will be taken cared of by the District ELLN
Coordinator
