Aim & Objective

•Learn about the uses of

hydroponics and how to start
growing plants
hydroponically. .
•.To study about the
importance of hydroponics.
Hypothesis

Hydroponics is not only the way to grow nutritious food but also building
our future health.
Points To Be Discussed:-
. What is hydroponics ?
. Is water enough for plant growth?
. How to dilute organic fertilizer ?
Let’s watch a video to learn how to make
Dilute Organic Fertilizer
Core Elements:-

1)Fresh Water
2) Oxygen
3) Light
4) Nutrients
Data Interpretation:-
Review of literature:-

The origins of hydroponics can be traced back to the ancient

city of Babylon, where present-day Iraq is located. The
Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World, is the first known example of soil-less growth
of plants. This was around 600 BC. Later on, around 1100 BC,
the Aztec Indians got creative with their growing techniques
and created gardens that seemed to be floating. These
“floating gardens” were called 'chinampas', which had a
strong combination of roots and lashes, laden with sediment
from lake-bottoms, providing nutrients to the crops and
plantations.
Similar floating plantations were discovered by Marco Polo on
his visit to China, which left him bewildered as he hadn't seen
anything like this ever before. The first scientific perspective
towards this soil-less technique is attributed to the Italian
genius, Leonardo da Vinci, who observed that plants and crops
needed to absorb minerals to survive. His findings were
published after his death.
Summary:-

. Hydroponics Is a way In which we don’t use soil for growth

and use water instead of it. In hydroponics, we grow more
amount of plants using less amount of space.
.Hydroponics can be done in any
place, and any climate .
.Only water can't give all the nutrients to the plant so we use
dilute nutrients to give all the nutrients to the plants in
hydroponics.
Subtopic
Organic Farming one of the effective ways of soil conservation

Aim & Objective
The objective of this research is to find the
role of organic fertilizer on soil conservation.
The artificial fertilizer had a short-term
benefit, but it has long-term side effect such
as soil toxicity and decline soil fertility.
Hypothesis
Organic soils have greater biological activity,
greater soil stability, more biomass and higher
diversity than conventionally managed soils.
Interview of Mr. Tamboli
Data Interpretation
Do you think there are challenges that stand in the way Do you think it is possible to totally convert chemical
of organic farming revolution? farming practices across the globe into the organic ?

Earthworm are regarded as the farmer’s friend ,

earth’s outstanding soil processor , recycler,
composter and “ Cinderella of organic farming”.
Their guts is the home of hundreds and
thousands of bacteria as well as an excellent
‘bioreactor’. Do you Agree?

Do you think organic farming focuses

more on feeding
soil rather than feeding the plants? Do you think ‘ Organic Farming’ will make this
world a little more chemical free?
Review of Literature
The use of organic fertilizers has advantage
of being cheap, improving soil structure,
texture and increasing the soils water
retention abilities and stimulating healthy
root development.
Organic fertilizer has many sources such as
minerals, animal source, sewage, sludge
and plant. Vegetables, animals and residue
materials had a contribution to improve soil
organic matter content in soil.
Summary
This research studies have shown that organic soils tend
to score higher when it comes to soil health than
conventional soils. Organic soils have greater biological
activity, greater soil stability, more biomass and higher
diversity than conventionally managed soils.
Organically managed soils also tend to have higher
water-holding capacity, porosity, and aggregate stability
than conventionally managed soils.

❖ This study is aimed at
identifying the purchase intention of
consumers towards organic food products.

❖To understand the perspective of

consumers buying behavior towards
organic food.
With the growing awareness about the ills of chemical food
products people desire to prefer safe and healthy food, more and
more consumers are turning towards organic food.
Points To BE DISCUSSED

Why do people buy organic fruits and vegetables ?

Can you tell me what are the qualities of organic food products?
 Which one is better, organic food or inorganic food?
Methodology :-

We have conducted a Google survey and took 2 interviews to understand the

perspective of consumers towards organic food products.

Review of Literature
❖Environmental care is one of the main motivational factors
towards purchasing any product including organic products.
Several studies have shown that organic production causes
less harm to the environment. Consumer are increasingly
getting environmental conscious and willing to contribute to
protect the environmental via any means.
❖Today’s life is getting very competitive and demanding.
Consumer has hardly time for physical activities but highly
exposed to the diseases. Consumers are very much concern
about their health and their food choice to stay healthy.
Health concern has influence over consumer attitude toward
organic food. Consumers’ attitude towards organic food and
their willingness to pay premium price by people.
❖ Consumers have become more health conscious and are turning
towards organic food. They find organic food more tasty and
nutritious. They feel energetic after eating organic food.

❖Organic food is eco-friendly. Hence,

‘Organic food is best from nature and best for nature.’

Aim & Objective:-
❖ Aim – to make the students as well as people aware of
how organic farming leads to a healthy nation and what
are its benefits.
❖ Objective- To study the prevalence of organic farming
and its future prospect.
Hypothesis:-
Organic farming is eco-friendly therefore more and more farmers
are turning toward it. From an economic point of view organic
farming requires less inputs to save cost, therefore becoming more
and more popular. With the growing awareness about the ills of
chemical farming people desire to prefer safe and healthy food.
Methodology:-

Our team has used the case study method for knowing about the topic. We
conducted a google survey to check how many people were aware of
organic farming. The survey was conducted through google forms. We have
also taken feedback from a doctor.
Interview:-
Data Interpretation:-
Review of Literature:-
Traditional was the original type of agriculture, and has been practiced for thousands of
years. All traditional farming is now considered to be "organic farming" although at the time
there were no known inorganic methods. For example, forest gardening, a fully organic food
production system which dates from prehistoric times, is thought to be the world's oldest
and most resilient agroecosystem. After the industrial revolution had introduced inorganic
methods, most of which were not well developed and had serious side effects. An organic
movement began in the 1940s as a reaction to agriculture's growing reliance on synthetic
fertilizers and pesticides. The history of this modern revival of organic farming dates back to
the first half of the 20th century at a time when there was a growing reliance on these new
synthetic, non-organic methods.
Summary:-
Organic food contributes to better
health through reduced pesticide
exposure for all and increased
nutritional quality…..organic food can
feed us and keep us healthy without
producing the toxic effects of chemical
agriculture. Everytime when we buy
organic we persuade more farmers to
grow organic. Hence we conclude that,
‘ Use organic, stay safe ’
