Subsets definition
- a subset is a set made up of
components of another set. There will be two
subcategories such as line segments and rays.
 SEGMENTS AND RAYS
If two distinct points A and B are connected with
a straight line, a line segment, or simply a
segment, is formed.
The points A and B are called the endpoints of AB
CONGRUENT SEGMENTS
Let M be a point on AB. Point M is called
the midpoint of AB if AMMB

If AB is extended in the direction of point
B, a ray is formed. The ray is denoted by
AB. Point A is called the endpoint of the
ray.

point A, a line is formed. Point M is the
common endpoints of the two rays.
