    What is social media
    Social medias are platforms on the internet that allow others to
    connect with others electronically the first social media site ever
    designed and developed by Andrew Weinreich was named six degrees
    but social media goes back even further to the 1840s when the
    telegraph was made and since then social media has in evolved into a
    more advanced and improve examples of social medias are reddit or
    facebook and so on. And it has played vital parts in our life such as
    communication and business purposes.

    Advantages of social media
    The advantages of social media is that we can use social media for
    research purposes in order to find an answer to what we need we can
    use social media but take note that some information may not be
    accurate or it may be fake so check the source of the information first.
    Another advantage of social media is instant communication for instance
    you can use messaging apps such as facebook to communicate with
    others. And lastly an advantage of social media is equality since it makes
    others to communicate at the same level.
    Disadvantages of social media
    With an advantage of social media there also comes with a
    disadvantage in social media an example of this is cyberbullying since
    the user behind the device has the capability to be anonymous since
    the harassment is taking place online so individuals have the
    capability to remain anonymous. Another disadvantage is hackers are
    individuals that may be ethical or unethical a ethical hacker is stated
    as a white hat while unethical hackers are black hat hackers. Black
    hat hackers are unethical hackers that steal a persons account and
    using it how ever they wish. Lastly a disadvantage of social media is
    false news which are intentionally made in order to confuse or decive
    others.

    SOMETIMES WHEN WE USE SOCIAL MEDIA AND DON’T SEEM
    TO BE FAMILIAR WITH A WEBSITE WE HAVE TO BE
    PRECAUTIOUS SINCE THE WORLD OF SOCIAL MEDIA IS A VAST
    WORLD THERE ARE SOME PLACES THAT ARE RISKY SO HERE
    ARE SOME WAYS YOU CAN STAY SAFE WHILE ON SOCIAL
    MEDIA. ONE USE A VPN A VPN IS A SPECIAL TOOL THAT IS
    USED TO KEEP YOURSELF SAFEGUARDED WHILE BROWSING
    ON A OPEN NETWORK OR WHEN A SITE MAY SEEM RISKY.
    TWO TURN ON CONTENT FILTERING IT IS USED TO REDUCE
    THE LIKELIHOOD OF NSFW (NOT SAFE FOR WORK) CONTENT.
    THREE HAVE PARENTAL SUPERVISION SINCE THEY WILL KNOW
    WHATS BEST AND WHATS NOT THE BEST OPTION TO GO WITH
