Tools
1. Beaker glass at least 500 ml, and have a bottom diameter of at least 130mm
2. Beaker glass measurement
3. Hot Plate
4. Thermometer Stick

Set-Up and Adjustment of Test Equipment
1. Add 160cc water to beaker glass
2. Add 2 gram the Kirkland Signature Detergent and stir well to dissolve the detergent
3. Place the beaker glass on a hot plat and rise the solution temperature to 30⁰c, while keep stirring the
solution untill all detergent is dissolved.
4. Drop a single prepared sample into the beaker and continue to raise the temperature from 30˚c to
40˚c.
5. When the temperature reaches 40⁰c, remove the beaker from the hot plate and allow cooling for 15
Minutes at room temperature lab (22±2⁰c)
6. Remove the prepared sample from the beaker and separate the sample and multi fiber.
7. Rinse the multyfiber with the cold water thoroughly. Lay it out on table lab or other nonabsorbent
surface and allow drying.
Program
NB * For Make Standard from Multyfiber do the methode above but don’t use the sample materials.

Data Collection and Analysis
When Dry, Identify only one multy fiber strip that exibits the worst color bleeding, and select that
sample for color bleeding evaluation.
1. If the selected multi-fiber sample show Slight color transfer (equal to 4.0) or No color transfer
(equal to 5.0) on each one of the multi-fibers (wool, orlon, polyester, nylon and cotton) assess the
color change using the visual evaluation scale.
2. If the selected multi-fiber sample show Moderate color transfer (less than 4.0) to the same color
as the colored sample (equal to 1.0) on any multi-fibers (wool, orlon, polyester, nylon and cotton)
assess the color change by using Spectro with using 9mm Small Apperture View (SAV).
