 There are different types of aircraft

to the function they perform, so
three main groups of airplanes
can be found.
 Commercial Airplane

• It is a model specially built for

passenger transport and the most used
by airlines.
 Cargo Airplane

• Also known as transport

aircraft, since they are used to
transport goods and large
objects. They do not have seats
or other elements necessary for
transporting individuals.
 Military Plane

• Their basic function is to be used for war

purposes, either for attack or defense. There
are many models that are differentiated
according to the needs, so there may be
attack aircraft, used to destroy elements
such as enemy targets.
 Airlines

• There are different aerolinias in the world

• Aeromexico, the flag carrier of the

United Mexican States, was founded in
1934 and is based at Mexico City's
International Airport.

low-cost airline founded in 2004.
 Viva Aerobús

• Viva Aerobus is a Mexican low-cost

airline based at Monterrey
International Airport, which began
operations in 2006; it is owned by
GRUPO IAMSA.

• Aerotucan is a Mexican airline based in

Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Mexico founded in
2001.
 American Airlines

• American Airlines, Inc. known simply as

American, is a U.S. airline based in Fort

 United Airlines
