Business problem or a need with details

First of all let me introduce myself , hello everyone I am Rahul Sahal from Techno India, Banipur and
currently I am in my 3rd year of academics, now taking about some major points on Business
Problem/Need/Opportunity and relate it to our problem statement.

• Business problems are current or long term challenges in a Business.

• There are less problems in comparison to the needs and opportunity for both consumer and
entrepreneurs.

• Needs of this Business? This product will shorten the lengthy hiring process. Currently hiring process
are such that 3-5 tests then Interview and HR rounds happens. It takes lot of time and tons of mails
also. But this product can shorten everything. Process of hiring will be same but it can be converted into
an easy process and that process we will discuss in upcoming slides.

• Opportunity? As we know More than 10 lakh students graduate every year in India. And out of these ,
approximately more than 60% remain unemployed or underpaid. Platform like this in future definitely
has an opportunity for company and user as this will bring employment for people of both the sectors.

Business problem or a need with details

• Unmet need? A need that is both important and unsatisfied is “unmet.” Unmet needs are
opportunities for new value creation. The more important and less satisfied a need is, the
greater the opportunity for new value creation it presents.

• Customer/target segment may want this? As I said about 60% of the graduates are either
unemployed or underpaid, this platform will break the boundaries of colleges no matter if
anyone is from A,B or C grade college. Every well qualified graduates can grab an
opportunity from the Platform.

• It important for you to address this need? Definitely it is important because I don’t have IIT,
NIT or IIIT tag. Being a student of a Tier 3 college, we have to search, fight, and grab the
opportunity. This kind of platform can really be helpful for us personally.

• Main value of this Idea for customer is the Employment, Opportunity and Experience which
customer deserves.

Target segment, market size and potential growth.

• The intended customer/ target segment? Basically it is a group of customers for whom the
desired properties of the product are more compatible, so the recent graduates are the main
target segment for this product in future there will be opportunity for experienced holders
too. Its not just about the hiring, it is about the opportunities, job vacancies and
internships.

Target segment is define as the type or group of customers a company wants to address.

• Market size? The total market size can be measured by the stats of total volume. Talking
about the market size for this product, It is huge and every year it will increase rapidly.

• Market growth? Every year the amount of graduates will increase, nothing can pause the
growth in this type of product. Let me add one thing, we know the corporate sector growth
stats “India’s IT and business services market is projected to reach US$ 19.93 billion by
2025” so there is no issue with the growth of product.

Solution Idea
Why we selected this use case? Let me first describe why we have taken this use case, It is not only about
the solution its about the change we need. we are from tier 3 college so the placement scenario is good but
have less opportunity. So, its not only about solution it is about the change and that change starts from
young minds.

• In this use case we have to design a Web 3.0 application for the every single details and a tracking
Mechanism of a candidates who join/intern in Virtusa. While thinking about this use case we thought
lets expand this to something more.

• It will not only contain details or tracking it will give an opportunity to them who deserve it.

• Below there is some glimpse of interface from Admin end :-

Admin has an admin UI for login were he/she can see the details of candidates, track there
progress and verify everything before they hired.

Also we have added that admin can add feed about new vacancies, roles and internship
so, if a candidate meet minimum requirements then he/she can apply.

• From user end :-

User’s end has different login page. They can see new feed, apply for job openings,
can see application status and every details.

• We have think of adding one more end which will be for already hired candidates where they can see
tasks, projects, perks/achievement, salary payment details and much more. This will help in avoiding
tons of mails.

• In next slides we will discuss about the key features and differentiators of this product and we make
sure that it will be beneficial for both the ends.

A Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) provides evidence that you are eligible to enroll at the Company and you
have accepted your place.

The eligibility criteria and minimum requirement which is set by virtusa at the time of oncampus drive.

Virtusa Recruits

All ongoing openings, Application links , processes will appear here and this will be controlled by a admin at
virtusa. This type of functionality attracts user and it results in website engagement.

From the admin end, admin can see the details of the registered user and also visitors on application.

This section will also have a gallery were user can see events pictures, videos and office tour of virtusa.

Off Campus

This is one of the most important section of this web application where a user will apply. It will be the
best section for a student who have good knowledge but less opportunity in their college.

This contain job details application process, status, registration links, benefits and some
instruction/terms which are important for joining virtusa.

Interns

As we said, we have modified this little bit so this section has also a user end where user can see listed
internships from virtusa.

It has the same details which are present in recruits section like Application details, process, tests and
duration of internships.

Lets discuss about Admin end

• Recruits section contain details about the candidates, a tracking mechanism to track progress and
approve or reject them according to their performance.

• Events section will be updated by admin and also new feeds for any openings from virtusa.

• Brand ambassador and gallery has editor/viewer roles for admin and updated on daily basis.

• Off campus section will have all the details of candidates from their academics to the joining process
and tracking section with approve/reject control.

• Intern section have also same interface like off campus and recruits.

We have added one unique Idea for process of hiring before coming to I will tell one small story, so when I
was in 2nd year I applied for an internship, I thought there will be online process but they called me and
said come tomorrow for aptitude test and interview and it was in Kolkata somewhere I don’t remember the
location till now its looking smooth isn't it ?
But I am from Motihari, Bihar which is around 800 km and colleges were closed at that time so I was at my
hometown. It was not possible to go so I have to leave it with heavy heart.

And I thought why this? Specially if you are applying for off campus I wish that it has exam centers allotted
which can be selected by candidates. I want to add a section where user can select exam centers like jee
mains, an online CBT test from centers.

This will be much easier for both end and evaluation and everything will take just some minutes.

Shortlisted candidates will called for interview in office. Both admin and user can track the progress till
hiring.

This one thing we really need.

• Proof of concept(PoC) is evidence obtained from a pilot project, which is may be an idea,
business plan or project plan is Feasible, Applicable, and Practically possible.

• Feasibility:

It is a web based application which will be created using some languages like HTML, CSS,
JAVASCRIPT, SOLIDITY etc. So there are tons of application already available so it is
possible to do so.

Database can be also managed using cloud, Now a days almost everything stored on cloud
and some of the critical data can be stored on blockchain.

so it is very much feasible.

we are already familiar with some online web application, websites and mobile
application which are developed for teaching, doing courses and some used for
Examination process. Who are using all these? The answer is we the youth and they are
very much used to these type of technology. During covid period the students used online
platforms for learning so this is applicable/suitable for all users that just started their
career in some technical field.

• Practically possible:

We have already cleared about PoC, some of the key points are mentioned below:

• Backend part of web application will be based on backend web development using blockchain,
cloud, JavaScript, solidity and some framework.

• Frontend UX will be designed on Figma and there are many options available for development.

• For examination process which we have introduced in some previous slides, It will be implement
using some already developed CBT platforms, NTA one of the best test agency which conduct
jee mains, Advance, etc.
So, In Every Expects our solution can be Implement, sure it will take some time to add new features but it is possible
to do so.

Our team consist a total of three members in which a captain and two girls, we
are from “Techno engineering college, Banipur, Kolkata”. Lets talk about the
team as I will introduce my team member in next slide so TEAM “BEPOSITIVE”
Which reflects our attitude and strength. Jagriti Chandra, she has very good
knowledge about business and its ups and downs so she was the main lead of
business part of this presentation. 2nd member Jyotsna kumari she lead the
market section and rest of the sections we completed together and last but not
the least winning or losing is just a state within a time but positivity is the key
and the only constant. Together we are very confident at what we do.
