Landforms or relief features

represent the surface layer of the
earth –the Lithosphere.
our earth has undergoing
continuous changes due to forces
acting inside and outside the surface
of the earth. These force which are
generated on and under the surface
of the earth result ins two kinds of
processes –endogenic process
(internal) and exogenic process
(external).
• Endogenic process involves force that act
within the earth and bring change in the
earth’s crust.
• The continental drit theory and the plate
tectonic theory state that the crust of the
earth is divided into plates, which are in
constant motion due o these internal
forces.
• These lead to the upliftment and sinking
of the earth’s surface at several places.
