o Systematic
o Logical
o Replicable e.t.c
TYPES OF RESEARCH

Pure Research – Study of Search of Knowledge.
 It can contribute new facts
 It can put theory to the rest
 It may integrate previously existing theories
o Applied Research -Study of finding solution to a
problem.
 It offers solutions to many practical problems
 To find the critical factors in a practical problem
WHY RESEARCH IS VERY IMPORTANT
 Self confidence
 Understanding how knowledge is constructed
 Learning to work independently
 Translating courses learnt in class to solve

problems practically e.t.c.
