Objetives:
This lesson will make the student learn the following:
1. Students will be able to identify the different
places inside their community.
2. Students will use prepositions of place in a
conversation.
3. Students will be able to give directions and
practice their communication skills.

• In: Inside
• At: used to show an exact position or a particular place. (table, events)
• On: attached (left, right)
• Next to: not far away in distance
• Between: in or into the space which separates two objects.
• Behind: at the back of
• In front of: further forward than something
• Under: Lower than
• Below: Lower than something else
• Over: Above or higher than something else
Prepositions of Place
A preposition of place is
a preposition which is used
to refer to a place
where something or someone
is located.
