Statistics:

“The
statistics refers to a set of mathametical procedures for organizing , summarizing
and interpreting information.”

There are two types of statistics:

So, it consist of collection, organization, sumarization, and
presetation of data . It describes data.
we can classifes data by charts graphs etc
FOR EXAMPLE: Transcript of any degree is descriptive statistics .
“ IN DISCRIPTIVE STATISTIS WE CALCULATE DATA FOR WHOLE
POPULATION OR WHOLE GROUP “
Infrential Statistics:
“ IN INFRENTIAL STATISTICS WE CALCULATE DATA
FROM SAMPLE OR FROM SMALL GROUP TO DRAW THE CONCLUION
ABOUT POPULATION OR FOR LARGE GROUP.”

IN INFRENTIAL STATISTICS :
• Generalise from sample to population
• Hypothesis testing (research questions)
• Make predictions
For Example:
Survey of votes for different political parties from
different peoples .Just to draw the conclusion about that which political
party will select.
“IN INFRENTIAL STATISTICS WE USE THE WORD POPULATION “
Population:
A population consist of all the elements that are being
